I. Vermeer
Grateful Films developed the script I. Vermeer for a number of years, at times attaching actors such as Cate Blanchett, Adrien Brody, and Armand Assante as well as director Julian Schnabel to this World War II era suspense story about Han Meegren, the world's greatest art forger. Development was discontinued when The Last Vermeer, directed by Dan Friedkin, went into production in 2018 staring Guy Pearce.
The Prospect
Workshop Productions hired Williams to adapt Bill Littlefield's novel, The Prospect, under the creative direction of Alvaro Donado. They developed the project for three years, attaching Academy Award winner Rita Moreno (West Side Story, The King and I) and Robert Duvall (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) to star, and David Mickey Evans (The Sandlot) to direct.
Columbo and the curse of sorcery circus
Williams' first professional screenplay was a Columbo made-for-tv movie for Universal Studios. The episode, to be produced by Rob Levine, was the last episode slated for Peter Falk, who retired before it was shot.

Under fire
Developed with Carl Craig (The Salon, Hollywood Shuffle) and co-written with Patrick Muhlberger (Trailerpark, Wonderquest) this original feature screenplay mixes the horror and war genres together to tell the story of a clique of high school computer nerds who think they have discovered a way to end the war in Afghanistan.
Voices from the heartland
Williams adapted an anthology of short stories by the likes of experimental author M.E. Yakelevich and poet Heidy Steidlmayer into a series of half-hour television scripts for young adults.
Three of the scripts recently received the Ohio Arts Council's award for Individual Excellence in Screenwriting award.

NORMAN PINSKI COME HOME
Rewrite for hire - hired by Aaron Ruddelson to expand the short film script into a feature length film. Norman Pinski Come Home is the 6th film by writer/director Aaron Rudelson. Rudelson, a fan of Mel Brooks’ classic comedy Young Frankenstein, puts a unique spin on the Frankenstein narrative. The creature may be a monster to the outside world, but to his former mother, his primitive mind is just like that of a toddler (with superhuman strength).
ACROSS THE WIRE
Adaptation of Luis Alberto Urrea’s novel Across the Wire. An unprecedented look at what life is like for those refugees living on the Mexican side of the border. Urrea’s account of the struggle of these people to survive amid abject poverty, unsanitary living conditions, and the legal and political chaos that reign in the Mexican borderlands explains without a doubt the reason so many are forced to make the dangerous and illegal journey “across the wire” into the United States.
LONE WOLF 360
"Inspired" by the actions of Eric Rudolph, Ted Kaczynski, and Timothy McVeigh, and the subsequent manhunts that brought these terrorists to justice, Lone Wolf 360 tells a cautionary tale of growing extremist views in todays society and the moral uncertainty that a law enforcement official can feel when confronting complex social issues.
the Search for David Korn
A tragic love story mixing the emotions of Jules and Jim with the storytelling complexity of The Usual Suspects. Someone has killed themself. Is it one of two best friends – David and Aaron – or is it Aaron’s girlfriend, Katie? Told in three parts, this love-triangle explores the moments that shape a person’s life. An experimental spec script.
